Multi-Professional Support

Therapy

All pupils at Oaklands are entitled to receive the quantity of therapy indicated in their Education Health Care Plan, or in their most recent therapy report.

Oaklands therapy services are commissioned to the school by Hounslow Local Authority.

The quantity of therapy commissioned to Oaklands is currently under review. If you have questions regarding your child’s therapy please raise these initially with Davina Wright, our Senco, which will be happy to put you in contact with your child’s therapists.

Educational Psychology

School Dr

Our school Dr is based at the Heart of Hounslow and visits school regularly and provides medicals on site.

Nursing support

Full time healthcare assistant and a visiting qualified nurse usually on one day a week. 

We have the following particularly specialist staff

• A Makaton trainer,
• Four Team Teach trainers
• Approved TEACCH trainer
