Oaklands is a school for children and young people that have severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and/or autism. We cater for students between the ages of 4 and 19. High Oaks, our secondary school is based in a purpose built premises located in Gresham Road, Hounslow. We are close to Osterley Tube Station and public transport routes and just 15 minutes’ walk from Hounslow bus station.
Oaklands sixth form offer a 3 year programme of study. As part of this 3 year programme students participate in Vocational and Life skills activities. As part of this they will participate in a range of activities relating to the World of work and preparing them for adulthood.
Due to our rapid and continued expansion, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Café Manager. The ideal candidate will maintain a high level of customer service whilst supporting and training students to develop their working skills in a café environment. You will need to have experience of working as a Café Manager and experience of having worked with young people who have severe learning difficulties. We believe that all of our students are capable of making outstanding progress and we want to appoint individuals who share our belief and have the desire and motivation to make this happen. Hours of work: Monday to Fridays 8.30am – 3.30pm (36 hours per week).
Pay Scale: Hounslow Pay scale SO2 (scale point 26 - 28).
Actual Pay: £33,784 - £35,364 per annum.
