Oaklands is an Outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. From September 2018, we have a Primary school (New Oaks) located at Woodlands Road, in Isleworth, and a Secondary school (High Oaks) located at Gresham Road, in Hounslow. Both our school buildings offer state of the art facilities for our students.
The primary and secondary schools cater for students aged from 4 to 19.
A new opportunity has arisen for a swimming pool assistant to join our High Oaks and New Oaks team. The role has been designed to support teachers in preparing for and after swimming lessons and maintain a clean and orderly environment in the swimming pool area. You will work under the directions of the staff to support students and to promote independence in the student’s self-help skills.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant experience of working with Children or young adults who have support needs.

Pay Scale: Hounslow Council Pay Scale 3 (point 5 to 6)
Actual Pay: £18,571 to £18,851 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent- Part time - Term time only (39 weeks)
Hours: 28¾ hours per week
Actual working hours: 09.00am – 3.30pm Across both sites
