 Head Teacher’s News - Autumn 2024

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to all our students and families. It has been so lovely to see the students settling back into routine so well, and our new students becoming familiar with their new surroundings. 

Please take note of your child's timetable which has been sent home this week. Please ensure that your child brings their swimming kit and PE kit on the days these lessons are timetabled. 

Students who are brought to school by parents/carers should arrive at school between 9.15-9.30 am. It is important that students have time to carry out their morning routine before their first lesson begins at 9.45. We want all pupils to maximise their learning throughout the day. If you  arrive after this time, you may be asked to wait in reception with your child until the current lesson has finished so they can be taken to class. Staff are unable to leave classrooms to collect students midway through lessons, as this causes disruption to the students already present.  We are very keen on good and timely attendance because of the negative impact on learning over time.
